BWSC provided survey and design for an 8.5-mile section of the 840 corridor, a 77-mile, four-lane divided highway that forms a wide arc around Davidson County’s south side. The completed road will connect I-40 in Wilson County on the east side of Nashville to I-40 in Dickson County on the west side of the city. The portion designed by BWSC extends from I-24 East to Jefferson Pike. Included three interchanges, a railroad crossing, a crossing of the Stones River and a major creek crossing.
