BWSC performed structural, mechanical and electrical engineering as well as construction administration for an addition to accommodate a new 40-ton overhead bridge crane and extended runways for existing 30-ton and 120-ton cranes, mill-table extension, and two pusher furnaces. BWSC structural engineers designed the foundations for the pusher furnaces, which were pre-heat, continuous operation, gas-fired furnaces for heating aluminum ingots prior to rolling into can stock.
