BWSC provided planning for a county-wide parks and recreation master plan (in association with Leisure Vision). Prepared master plans for two park sites and prepared successful North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund grant applications for both sites. The project utilized NRPA accreditation standards as a guide in the review.  The plan included an inventory and analysis of existing facilities and services and  community needs assessments using public workshops and focus groups.
