BWSC led a team to master plan a 900-acre portion of the former site of the Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant. BWSC’s plan maintained the site's flexibility to adapt to potential uses as well as addressed potential environmental issues. BWSC’s landscape architects and engineers designed entrance features, roads and utilities to appeal to the high-end industrial user. In a related project, BWSC landscape architects assisted the city in presenting the park as a potential location for an automobile manufacturing plant.
