Garland Rose has Bachelor’s Degrees from Vanderbilt University and the University of Tennessee, and is a registered professional engineer in seven states. He has been with BWSC since 1975, starting out as assistant project manager in the Knoxville office and working his way up to Chairman of the Board. From 1989 to 2001, he directed BWSC’s Environmental Division, directing growth of the division’s services and profits.
Born and raised in Nashville, Garland has earned the respect of clients and peers in his service to numerous towns, cities and counties through his involvement in industrial and infrastructure development programs. He served on ASCE’s National Board of Direction from 2002 to 2005, and served as president of the Nashville Kiwanis Club from 2001 to 2002.
