Nashville, TN – Tiffany Coursey, human resources representative with Barge Waggoner Sumner & Cannon, Inc. (BWSC) was awarded the HR Professional Excellence Award for 2010 on September 16 at the 2010 Tennessee Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) Conference in Sevierville, Tennessee. The award is given annually by the Tennessee SHRM State Council to recognize volunteer leadership to a local SHRM chapter, service to the HR profession, service to the community, and professional service to the employer.
Ms. Coursey has worked with BWSC since 2007 where she has been involved with recruiting, benefits management, and the BWSC Performance Management Program. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, she has also been recognized as a Nashville Emerging Leader in Human Resources by the Nashville Chamber of Commerce in 2010. A native of Nashville, Ms. Coursey lives in Hermitage with her husband Brandon.
