Nashville, TN — Vice President of Energy and Environment Kent Evetts, PG, has been elected as the 3rd Director for the Nashville Post of the Society of American Military Engineers for 2012. The Post has three Directors who each advance successively to the positions of vice president and president positions of the organization.
As 3rd Director, Evetts is committed to serve three years with the organizational leadership providing parliamentary oversight, membership support, and Post involvement in community and professional activities among other duties. He has been a member of SAME since 1990 and has participated in the Nashville, Huntsville, Mobile, and Honolulu Posts.
As part of his involvement, Evetts will be tackling the challenge of encouraging your professionals to become involved in SAME and developing events and programs geared toward pursuit of architecture and engineering professions. He will also be supporting the SAME goals of keeping members updated on emerging technologies and methodologies in the AE industry. |
