Dothan, AL – Michael J. Cole, PE, PMP, project manager and civil engineer in the Dothan office of BWSC, has been certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI) after successfully completing the PMP program and examination. PMI is an international professional association involved in advancing the practice, science, and profession of project management throughout the world.
Michael has over 12 years of experience in complete project administration, from the planning stage, through design and construction, to project closeout. He has experience in aviation design, roadway design, grading and drainage design, utility design, traffic control, erosion control, and hydraulic modeling. Michael has been associated with BWSC since 2005 and has provided engineering and construction administration services on a wide array of projects including roads, airports, aviation and production hangars, senior centers, multi-family residence projects, sewer facilities, water lines, and streetscape projects. Michael routinely manages multi-million dollar construction projects and is responsible for the production staff in the Dothan Office.
Michael obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University in 1998. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Alabama and Georgia and a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). Originally from Ozark, AL, he currently lives in Dothan, AL, with his wife and two daughters.
