Knoxville, TN – Andrew C. Murr, PE, CFM, has been named Civil Group Manager of BWSC. Andrew, who was previously the Office Manager in the firm’s Birmingham office, will oversee the civil operations of the Knoxville office. In his role as Civil Group Manager, Andrew will have oversight and responsibility for civil engineering, surface transportation, and surveying design services.
Andrew, who joined BWSC in 1994, has 16 years of experience in project management and design on a wide array of projects, including roads, sewer facilities, water lines, industrial parks, streetscape projects, and parks. He has experience in complete project administration, from the planning stage, through design and construction, to project closeout, and has successfully managed multiple projects for a variety of different agencies including Metro Nashville Davidson County, Jefferson County in Alabama, and the City of Auburn. “We are extremely excited about Andrew and his family joining our Knoxville team. Andrew’s engineering and past office management experience will greatly enhance our civil design capabilities. His experience in water services and industrial park design will add to the services that we can provide to our clients,” said Joe Ledford, Vice President and Knoxville Office Manager.
