Heather Buckberry, PE, Earns Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Heather Buckberry, PE, PMP, FPE, CEM, LEED AP BD + C spacer

Knoxville, TN – Heather L. Buckberry, PE, PMP, FPE, CEM, LEED AP BD+C, a senior mechanical and fire protection engineer in the Knoxville office of BWSC, has been certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI) after successfully completing the PMP program and examination. PMI is an international professional association involved in advancing the practice, science and profession of project management throughout the world.

Heather has over 17 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for a wide variety of market segments, including industrial facilities, government, institutional, and specialty applications. She has been associated with BWSC since 2000 and her experience has included sprinkler system design, site piping system design, and fire pump layout design.

Heather obtained her Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Tennessee and her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. She is a Registered Professional Engineer in Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, and North Carolina. She is a Certified Energy Manager, a Fire Protection Engineer, and a LEED Accredited Professional BD+C. Heather is a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the National Fire Protection Association, the Association of Energy Engineers, and the United States Green Building Council. Originally from Sevierville, she currently lives in Knoxville, TN.
