Nashville, TN — Two Barge, Waggoner, Sumner, and Cannon, Inc. employees have been selected for community Leadership programs for 2011-2012. CEO Bob Higgins, PE has been selected to join the Leadership Nashville 2012 class. Mr. Higgins is also a graduate of the 2009 Leadership Franklin (TN) class. Civil Engineer Jeremy Westmoreland, PE has been selected for the Leadership Brentwood 2012 class.
Leadership Nashville and Leadership Brentwood are both nonprofit organizations that prepare emerging community leaders to help improve the quality of life for their communities. Class members are nominated and go through a rigorous selection process to be admitted to the nine-month program. The programs provide an educational environment that promotes a free exchange of ideas and concerns and fosters cooperative advancement through team community projects. |
