Nashville, TN — Barge Waggoner CEO, Bob Higgins, recently participated in a seminar sponsored by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce titled “CEO Conversations with Young Professionals.” The sold out event featured nine of Middle Tennessee’s top CEOs who spoke on different topics related to leadership in organizations. Higgins’ topic theme was Corporate Culture. In his presentation, he focused on the culture of corporations and how it is the personality of an organization. Higgins spoke to the young professionals about the Barge Waggoner founders and their commitment to setting values within the firm and how those values are still followed today. He told the audience that an investment in culture was an investment in people and a key differentiator that has helped Barge Waggoner grow from the four people that founded the firm to the over 300 people that make up the firm today. Due to the volume of requests to attend the event, plans are already under way to host additional seminars.
