Nashville, TN — Barge, Waggoner, Sumner, and Cannon, Inc. welcomes Benjamin “Ben” Faris, PE, to the Industrial and Building Services group as a Structural Engineer in Barge Waggoner’s Nashville office. Faris received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo (2001), and a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from the University of California at San Diego (2002).
“Ben’s background and project experience make him a great addition to the structural group,” comments Steve Edwards, PE, Manager of Structural Services. “I am very excited to have the opportunity to make Ben a part of our group because he will enhance our capabilities and capacity.”
Faris comes to Barge Waggoner from Structural Design Group in Nashville where he served as a Project Manager and Design Engineer. His prior role was with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) as a Bridge Designer. He is a member of Tennessee Structural Engineers Association, American Institute of Steel Construction, and American Society of Civil Engineers. Faris is a licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California and a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Tennessee. |
